Traditionally wood drying is done at the sawmill, but as air drying is inefficient, and kiln drying equipment is expensive (not to mention most likely polluting the environment), we decided to step in and help. At Sirocco we utilize the excess heat from our own clean energy power plant to efficiently and sustainably dry wood. Complete with qualified personnel who ensure a consistent quality of each batch of wood.

Beside driers we are also utilizing wood steamer technology which is an efficient and eco-friendly method for softening wood to make it flexible for bending into various shapes. It is widely used in woodworking, boat building, and furniture making, and involves a combination of heat, moisture, and pressure control to achieve the desired results. Our steamer are utilizing heat from nearby CHP Power Plant, adding value to our sustainability and efficiency goals
