We use heat produced by nearby power plant, where heat is produced using wood waste and other biomass fuels, further improving the sustainability of the process.
High tech is sustainable
Traditionally wood drying is not exactly an ecological process. By reducing energy consumption, using heat from nearby CHP Power Plant, installing Solar Panels and maximizing drying efficiency, our system will contribute to reducing CO2 emissions associated with wood processing.
Sirocco is a leading wood drying and steaming facility in Croatia. In 2024, international infrastructure manager Ancala acquired a majority share in Sirocco to support our growth plans and further enhance the operations at our site.
